12/Mar/18 nice day for a BBQ

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

The Big Guy got a new BBQ for his birthday.  Since it was his birthday, he got to get a could steaks.  They were prime rib steaks.

Don't they look good?

I didn't get to have any steaks.  Not even the bones.  The Big Guy has been reading stuff and it's because the steaks have been cooked that he said no.  If the bones were not cooked, I could have them.  Otherwise, the bones are very likely to create shards that could pierce my stomach.  Can't have that.

That would mean another visit to the Vet.  Not to say that I don't like the Vet, but if I don't have to see them again, I will be fine with that.

We went for our walk yesterday and the sidewalks were a lot cleaner.  The ice and stuff has melted.  We're not out of the woods just yet.  There is more snow in the forecast.  But there is also a lot of rain in the forecast too.  So we will see just how much snow and how much rain we get.  But with the temperature constantly on the rise, it would seem that the Big Guy may not be using his snowblower for the rest of this year.

But I wouldn't count on putting the snowblower away just yet.  They may be in for another snow storm before Winter is out.

So if you didn't move your clocks forward an hour due to Daylight Savings, you better get on with it.  That is unless you live where they don't change the time.  When the Big Guy used to live in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, they didn't change their time.

There is a lot of people that are asking for Daylight Savings to be removed.  They find that they really don't need it.

On to the Word of the Day.  Today's word is:  Oscitant (adjective)
[os-i-tuh nt]

My sentence:  Since Oscar the Grouch rents a garbage can on Sesame Street, he is considered as Oscitant.

Definition:  Yawning, as with drowsiness; gaping.

Sentence:  The old dog slept most of the day, although she was occasionally oscitant, so we knew she was alive.

Today's Video of the Day is one of mine:  Max our Bernese Mountain Dog February 2018 photo collection

Bye bye fur now.
