The Big Guy turns 56 years told today.
He has been trying to loose weight so that he can be around for another 56 years. So far, these last few months, no real weight loss. He said, this Monday, for sure, he's going to be trying again to loose the weight. He hasn't given up. It's just that he loves food so much.
Yesterday, the weather got nasty around supper time. It was freezing rain, with ice pellets and hail. But the weather system that was supposed to bring about 30 cm of snow, well, that went somewhere else. We only got about 5 cm of snow. Today, the temp is supposed to go above freezing. The Big Guy will not be using his snow blower. He will be taking the shovel outside and moving some of the snow around.
The Big Guy is also going to be getting a new propane BBQ. The one that he has on the deck, well it's beyond what he can fix. The metal in the back is falling apart and the BBQ is EXTREMELY hard to light.
So out with the old and in with the new.
Yesterday the guys at work were asking the Big Guy if he didn't get a new BBQ last year. He told them, yes he did. But that one was a charcoal BBQ. Totally different than propane.
Tonya told the Big Guy, he has to make me some new home made dog biscuits. He says that it doesn't take that long to make them. I hope not. I would love to have some new biscuits.
Otherwise, the mice are hiding. They must know about the new traps. The Big Guy is going to have to step up his game if he wants to get the mice.
