Good morning Cape Breton.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.
Well, the Big Guy thinks we got about 8 inches of snow last night. How did he determine this? Have a look at this picture.
Did you see the milk crate in front of the BBQ? The milk crate is about a foot tall. Since there is about 4 inches of milk crate, then he thinks about 8 inches of snow fell.
Then there is the car. You really can't see the drifts from this angle. Either way, he's got some snow that needs to be moved.
The snow plow hasn't gone by. That's going to be his biggest worry. Once they go by, they will put a snow drift in his yard. He has to get his car OUT of the driveway to get Tonya to work for 7:30 today. The Big Guy only needs to get to work later on in the morning.
Yesterday the Big Guy got a new battery for his lawn tractor. It was old. About 5 years old actually. This is about how long he should get out of a battery. The battery in the lawn tractor isn't like a car battery. They last a little longer, but not much.
I wonder what it's going to be like for the electric cars? Will those batteries last about 5 years? I bet they are a lot more expensive than a lawn tractor battery.
But the Big Guy needed the battery so that he would be able to use his snow blower. He will definitely need that today to clean up his yard.
Tonya and the Big Guy took my non-furry brother, Floyd to Sydney yesterday to get some new shoes for his work. They had to be non slip as he works in a kitchen. I wonder if Floyd would wear the Big Guy's old military boots. They are non slip and he doesn't wear them any longer.
So... I'm thinking... there will be no walks today. That is unless they do a good job at cleaning the sidewalks. If they do that, then I will be going for a walk. But probably not this morning.

Bye bye fur now.
