Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.
I know that after our walks, I love to find a corner of the house and just relax. Then I am ready to go for our next walk.
Yesterday, I was watching the Big Guy for about 2 hours in the front yard. He bought these huge garbage bags and was putting stuff that was in boxes, into these garbage bags.
Over and over. From the boxes, into the garbage bags.
I watched him put other stuff in the bags too.
But when he was all done, he filled 19 garbage bags. So, eventually, when the garbage man comes by, it will be so much easier for them to take the stuff away.
Now, the next big job, is for the Big Guy to go though the basement and do pretty much the same thing. He has to find the stuff that he is going to keep and the other stuff that he is going to throw out.
Thankfully, most of the stuff in the basement, is pretty much boxes of the stuff that they have bought over the years. It's time to throw the boxes out.
There is stuff in the basement that is trash. It just has to be purged. If it hasn't been used in 2 years, it is time to think of it as garbage. He can't just keep stuff forever. Especially if it isn't going to be used ever again. Just like this computer chair that is down there. The arms are part of the frame to keep the back in place. Well the arms are broken. It's really time to throw that computer chair out.
Then, the next big job will be to sweep the basement and clean it up. That hasn't been done since they moved in. 10 years of dust and other stuff on the basement floor. Should be fun.
