So there was some big noises coming from the back yard yesterday.  People were really devastated that a historical building was torn down.  Originally it was the Western Union Cable Station building.  Eventually it was handed off to St. Peter's Church and was then known as The Parish Center.  Although the Big Guy thought it was the Perry Center for the longest time.  But it was torn down.  So many people had great ideas for the building, but it would have needed a lot of repairs to fix it up.

We went for a walk last night and the Big Guy stopped and clicked a few pictures.

The people in this building were the first to know in Canada that the RMS Titanic had hit an iceberg and was sinking.  They forwarded that message off to New York City.  The counter part building is in Newfoundland.  They got the message first and then sent it to this building to be re-transmitted.

The people of North Sydney knew one full day before the rest of North America that WWII was over.  They were having fun and partying in the streets of North Sydney before the rest of Canada and United States got the message.  That message was delivered to that building.

Our counterpart building is doing just fine in Bay Roberts Newfoundland.  It is a museum and gift shop over there.  Guess the people of Newfoundland thought it was important to save their building.

Do you know what else I found out yesterday?  A 2013 Ford Taurus AWD SEL weighs about 4180 pounds before anyone gets in it.  It has tires that are 255/45R19.  Why do I mention this?  I left my bone outside and now it is CRUSHED.

The Big Guy did up this video where I was chewing on my Rubber Chicken.  It made the most annoying sound in the world.  Amy, one of the Big Guy's friends on Facebook and from work, bought me a Rubber Pig.  Of course he made a video.
