Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
The weather people didn't tell the truth. Now, I'm sure they have a better twist on what has happened. Last week, the storm tomorrow was supposed to bring about 20 to 30 cm of snow.
Then, yesterday, it was down to 15 to 20 cm of snow.
Last night, 15 cm of snow.
Today, 5 cm of snow.
Tomorrow, likely a dusting of snow.
Now... do you know who is super excited about this lack of snow?
Oh yea... the Big Guy...
Now, to be fair, we are expecting about 5 to 10 mm of rain today. If you think that isn't going to soak into the snow that's already on the ground and make for one hell of a mess... Once the snow banks freeze, they are going to be solid.
You will need a pick axe to break though the ice.
The Big Guy is quite happy that he took the time to push back on the snow banks as much as he did. Otherwise, for the next upcoming snow storm, he would have been fighting to get the snow blower to make any headway.
He only owns plastic shovels now. Not something that could break though an icy snow bank. All his metal shovels. He broke them. He is hard on his shovels.
