Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
In a few minutes, the Big Guy is going to turn on the oven. He is going to mess around with some carrots, celery and some onions. Then he is going to put the turkey on top of those veggies. He will put some water in the bottom of the pan. He will put some poultry seasonings on top of the turkey and it will go in the oven.
Then it's the long wait.
For sure, I'm going to get some boiled veggies. I always do. Tonya says the veggies are ok for me.
We are also going to have some ham. Not that the Big Guy is cooking that. Although he would. Elaine is cooking that and she will bring it over when she comes over for dinner.
The Big Guy is wondering if anyone is going to bring dinner rolls.
That seems to be some sort of running joke with him.
I would say, he should just make them and be done with it.
He has done rolls before and they always seemed to turn out ok.
For some reason, one of the brothers that is coming over, really wants peas. The Big Guy said OK, he will make sure there is peas. Not a big deal.
Then, after it's all said and done, he will make some turkey pies. Lots and lots of turkey pies. He wonders if he made a bunch of little ones for his work. Then he could freeze them and when he wanted one for work, he could take it to work and thaw it in the microwave. Or he could just make a big pie and put it in the little containers. Same deal Only less tedious. I guess time will tell.
