Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
A few years back, they did some renovations on this house. Along with the renovations, they also moved the laundry machines upstairs. Which means the dryer vent is on the 2nd floor.
Starlings tend to nest in the sides of cliffs.
The side of the house is very cliff like.
So is this gapping hole that will open up when the dryer is on.
This isn't the first time this has happened, where the Starlings want to nest in the dryer vent.
Tonya was trying to throw stuff at them to encourage them to nest somewhere else.
They are having none of it.
They want what they want.
So, the Big Guy is going to have to block the dryer vent for the moment. Put some old towel in the hole from the dryer side
There is a cage that they got, somewhere in the garage. Or they can just purchase a new one for about $15.00 at the Home Depot.
Those Starlings are going to have to find another home.
