Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
It has been raining out the last few days.
With the rain, I really don't sit out and enjoy the outside. Neither does Tonya or the Big Guy.
I know that I will be the first one to bitch about it being hot outside.
The Big Guy's biggest gripe. Mosquitos.
Obviously they are not out just yet.
Tonya loves sitting out in the evening and at night. It is cooler that way in the summer. But unless you use a lot of bug spray, you just can't enjoy sitting out without doing some sort of "swatting the flies" type of dance.
Birds eat a lot of mosquitoes.
If you ask the Big Guy, they don't eat enough of them.
Bats eat a lot of mosquitoes. The Big Guy has always said, he would make a "bat box" and hang it on his property. You need a North facing wall to hang the box. He definitely has that.
The Big Guy just checked and they are available on Amazon.
For all the stuff that they purchase for their grandchildren and neices and nephews, you know this is something that they could get for themselves.
The Big Guy has seen bats flying around at night when the mosquitoes are out.
