Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
The Big Guy bought this electric mouse trap. So far, it's caught about 14 mice. It is designed for rats. So when this trap goes off, the mice don't stand a chance.
But, it's been a long time since they have caught any mice.
Either the mice got smart.
Or they have executed all the mice they had.
They took down three buildings. BIG buildings too.
There was the former school, the forum and the parish center. All three of these buildings would have had mice, rats and other vermin living in them.

Of course, these critters would have all gone looking for other places to live.
This would be all the surrounding houses. The local stores must have made a killing on traps and other stuff to kill the rodents.
The SPCA, they got rid of all the feral cats. So those natural predator's would not have been around to take care of a lot of those rodents.
Myself, I'm not a "mouser".
Yea, that job is "beneath" me.
