Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Yesterday, Tonya and the Big Guy were cleaning up the yard. He mowed using the lawn tractor and Tonya mowed, using the push mower. It's always the hill part of their lawn that is difficult to deal with.
Now, the Big Guy was actually supposed to trim the hedge. Well he didn't do that. So he may end up doing that today. He will see how he feels about that.
They also put some stuff out to the curb. Well most of it is gone. Which of course pleases the Big Guy quite a bit. To him, it was all trash. But to other people, well, they seen it as something they could fix. But it's all gone. So the Big Guy is quite happy about that.
There is just this final stump that is in the front yard that the Big Guy would like to deal with. So, today might be the day he finally deals with it. He has some rope upstairs that is 900 pound test. So if he can tie onto the stump, and then use his lawn tractor, that stump might me coming up. Then again, he burnt a different stump to the ground. So he may end up doing that too.
The Big Guy took this pork loin out of the deep freezer. He says that it's time to cut it into steaks and time to have a BBQ. He normally gets about 16 steaks out of the pork loin. He will BBQ them all and then pick away at them over the next few days.
As the Big Guy was cleaning up his garage, he put my little wading pool up on the deck. They didn't put any water in it. I guess that will be later today.
Yesterday there was a lot of activity at the elementary school. The kids and their parents were at school, cleaning out their school stuff for the year.
