Good morning Cape Breton.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.
I've noticed, when I am out for my walks, other dogs that are in their yard, or in their house, will bark and bark, raising the alarm that some other dog is walking past their yard.
Then my own humans will get upset with me when I raise the alarm that other dogs are walking past their house.
Isn't it our jobs to raise the alarm like that?
So as the Big Guy is looking outside, he can see that the sun is starting to rise over the horizon. He slept in longer than normal for him. He said that he was awake at his normal time, but then fell back asleep as he knew he didn't have to get up.
The weather forecast has changed. For Monday, there was supposed to be 10 cm of snow. Now, it's changed to 1 cm of snow. Just enough to use the snow brush to get the car clean, but not enough to get out the shovel. Well, perhaps for the steps.
There is supposed to be some sort of polar vortex that is going to be coming for a visit in February. That means really cold temperatures.
The Big Guy couldn't care less about the cold. It's the snow that he doesn't like.
The Big Guy was thinking... it's been well over a year now since they have lost power. When he first moved to Cape Breton, he thought that loosing the power was normal for around these parts. Turns out, something that got replaced, must have fixed everything. That is unless everything got replaced.
