Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

The Big Guy took me for a slow walk yesterday.  The sidewalks are pretty icy still.  He wasn't wearing his ice cleats.  He was certainly taking a chance.

So today is the Big Day where Tonya and him get to met their new family doctor.  I wonder what he is going to want them to change in their lives?  Doctors never seem happy with their patients choices in life.

The Big Guy expects him to say, loose weight and get rid of the salt shaker.  That seems to be a constant with all Doctors he has seen in his life.

So there is no civic holiday in January of February.  Now, that's also excluding January 1st.  That doesn't count.  That is the New Year, so it shouldn't count.

There was a guy that had reached out to the Big Guy asking for video links to his videos from when he sailed on board HMCS Huron.  There was about 6 or 7 video links that the Big Guy had shared.  The guy had said that he was going to watch them all, after he was done watching the hockey game.

January is kind of a boring month.  There isn't much to do outside.  The Big Guy and Tonya are not really "Winter" people.  Now, some people love the cold and will go hiking and what not.  Not them, they prefer to stay indoors where it's warm.

I bet this Spring, they will sit on the sunny side of the house and have a few drinks, while they just sit in the Sun and enjoy the warmth.  To the Big Guy, that's even better than going to the beach.  1st off, he can enjoy a drink while he takes in the warmth.  Can't do that on a public beach as you would need a designated driver.  Since he is already home, he doesn't have to worry about that.
