11/Jan/19 open the pod bay door Hal

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

Since we didn't get the snow that was expected, we did get rain.  Well the rain is frozen now.  So now the sidewalks and what not are quite frozen over with ice.

Yesterday, when Tonya took me for my walk, she had to put her ice cleats on.  Which is great for her.  Not so much for me.  I was slipping and sliding everywhere.  I fell about 6 or 7 times on our walk.

I was NOT impressed with the ice.

Good thing I'm low to the ground.  If I was tall, like a human, I would have been hurt, several times over.

I hope the Big Guy can take out his snow blower and tackle the ice and what not that is in the driveway.  That shouldn't take him too long.

He rather loves that snow blower of his.  It has the ability to move a great deal of snow.  It will move the snow from being in one place and then toss it into a brand new place.

Taa daaaa...  Magic!

But I have to stay inside when he has the snow blower outside.  He doesn't want me to get too interested in the business end of the snow blower and forget myself.  That would be bad.

As I'm looking outside, I can see a Blue Jay.  Good thing Tonya isn't up or she would be tossing seed or peanut outside to the Blue Jay.  She would be concerned the that little bird might be cold and looking for some food.

She may even look at tossing out some of my kibble.  GASP!  That would be horrible to share my kibble like that.
