Good morning Cape Breton.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.
So this morning, the Big Guy sleeps in. Only by 30 minutes, but it kinda throws off his "routine".
He goes to the kitchen and he makes up the coffee. It's brewing.
He goes to the cupboard and reaches for a glass and puts it on the counter.
He goes to the fridge and bring out his tomatoe juice. He really likes having a large glass of tomatoe juice with a lot of pepper.
He reaches for his pepper grinder and it's empty.
He reaches for the pepper shaker and it's empty too.
He goes to his "spice" cupboard and looks for some pepper corns. Nope. None there. Sigh... He reaches for a container which is labeled as pepper. It's dark in the kitchen as he is only working with the night light that is in there.
He unscrews the cap to the pepper shaker and does this thing where he wraps his hand around the top of the pepper shaker. (Kinda like making a human funnel for the pepper to go into the pepper shaker) After the pepper shaker is full. He puts the container away and puts the cap on the pepper shaker.
He starts shaking pepper into his glass. He takes note, it is taking a lot of shakes to get the amount of pepper into his glass. He finally feels he has enough pepper and pours his tomatoe juice into his glass.
He puts everything away. Tomatoe juice back in the fridge. Pepper shaker back where it belongs. Pepper container back in the cupboard.
He lifts up his glass of Tomatoe juice with liberal amount of pepper.
He drinks and knows IMMEDIATELY. This isn't just pepper.
He poured a liberal amount of Pepper/Garlic mix into his Tomatoe juice.
He likes tomatoes and he likes garlic. He likes garlic pizza sauce. He likes a lot of garlic in his spaghetti sauce. But he did NOT expect to have garlic in his morning glass of tomatoe juice and pepper.
He drained his glass and put some water in it.
He took out the container from the cupboard and turned the lights on. Confirmed. Pepper and garlic seasoning.
Well it's too late now. Every time the Big Guy is burping, his breath smells terrible.
Bye bye for now
