Well it's been about 6 weeks now that Tonya has been working from home. Now, starting tomorrow, the Big Guy has to leave the house to go to work.
Now, he is also hoping, once things settle down a bit, that he will also be able to work from home again. Otherwise, he will be commuting to Sydney for work.
Their car isn't what you would call commuter friendly. It drives nice and all that, but he doesn't get what you would call, great gas mileage. Yes, he can get about 23 mpg, or about 10.5 liters per 100 kilometres.
But with the price of gas being what it is, it isn't too bad for now. Just this past week, the Big Guy gassed up the car and he had to force the $33.50 worth of gas into the car. Normally, it would be around the $70.00 mark.
Talking of the car. The other day, the Big Guy got out his new bottle of Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic car wax. It was super easy to apply. But yesterday in the rain, you could see where he missed some spots. They were all on the roof of the car.
Now, the Big Guy also has this squeegee thing that he uses to clean off the inside of the windshield of the car. So he is going to get that to finish off the roof again. Right now, it's still a bit cold outside, so he is going to be waiting for it to warm up first.
Then, he has other plans. He obviously will be taking his lunches to work this week. But he will be making them up ahead of time. He plans on making a beef stew, with onions so that I can't have any and then Sheppard's pie, which I'm sure he will also put onions in, so that I can't have any of that either. What a shit head that guy can be.
