29/May/20 well it certainly does feel like Summer

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

This picture, it was taken last night, as myself, Tonya and the Big Guy were on the front steps.  So far, it's too early for the mosquitoes.  Oh, but they will be coming.  Soon and with a vengeance.

Well, if you were living in Cape Breton, you would have felt the heat.  Now, it was +29 with a +35 humidex.

I'm sure a lot of you are going "Pfft, that's not even hot".

Ahhh, perhaps where you live, this isn't hot.  For us though, it most certainly is.  Considering less than a month ago, there was snow on the front lawn.

From what I hear, it's going to be even hotter.  Plus drier.  I would think, those people that are on well water, they are going to have to think about some other source of water before the Summer is out.  Either that, or dig a deeper well.

The Big Guy didn't get to mow the lawn yesterday.  Tonya needed some help with the work computer.  Now, he wasn't able to get any of it resolved.  But there was some other stuff that she needed help with.  Which he was able to get done.  But, by the time he was done helping her, she was due to start her work.  He didn't want to be mowing the lawn and disturbing her while she is at work.

So...  before he starts work today, it is his plan to mow the lawn.

When the Big Guy was looking at the weather, starting tomorrow, thru till Thursday, rain, rain and more rain.

So much for the dry Summer.
