Good morning Cape Breton.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.
So it's raining out now. Not hard rain. This is the gentle rain that you get where sitting out on the covered deck, with a warm beverage, and you can listen to the rain falling.
BUT, we don't have a covered deck.
Our neighbors across the street have a covered deck, but they never sit outside.
The Big Guy remembers as a younger man, sitting out on the deck of the cottage. Listening to the rain. Didn't matter if it was in the morning, afternoon, or evening. They would listen to CKCW from Moncton New Brunswick. That was pretty much the only radio station to listen to. Unless you were the Big Guy's father. He would listen to CBC radio for the news and what not.
Now, there are so many radio stations. No one agrees on which station to listen to.
You can even pay to listen to the radio. This is something that most cars can subscribe to now. It's called Sirius Radio. It's over satelights and you can listen to it as your driving from coast to coast.
The only thing the Big Guy doesn't like about that. You don't get local weather reports or the news, or items that are going on in your area. But he sees this service as being something that long distance truckers would listen to.
Since my paws are a big big, I rely on Tonya and the Big Guy to tune the radio station to my personal favorite: Max FM, 98.3 CHER in Sydney Nova Scotia. They have their own website: http://983maxfm.com/
