Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.
They had to cancel school yesterday. Not that WE got a lot of snow, but there was other parts of the province that did get MORE than what we got. So, to be fair for the kids around here, they cancelled school for everyone.
The Big Guy will be going outside in a few minutes to clean up the snow that fell. It isn't that there is a lot, but enough, that it really should be dealt with. Once it is done, he doesn't have to worry about it again until the next time it snows.
The Big Guy's computer is not producing any sounds again. This has happened several times. He knows what the fix is. He needs to do a recovery. Which is more annoying to him than anything else.
If he knew what was making his computer loose the sound, he would stop what ever the program is that is doing that.
Last night, Tonya felt like have grilled cheese sandwich. She had also turned down the heat before going to work. Which is a good thing. Why heat the house for someone that wears a fur coat all day long (me). But the Big Guy knew, the butter would be hard and would rip at the bread when your trying to spread it.
The Big Guy had read about using mayonnaise for your grilled cheese sandwich. Tonya was VERY skeptical and didn't think it would make for a nice sandwich. But when she got home, sure enough, the butter was WAY too hard to spread.
So she made the grilled cheese sandwich with mayonnaise.
She is now converted and will be making ALL her grilled cheese sandwiches with mayonnaise. When the Big Guy got home, he was pretty surprised at the results. He likes mayonnaise, so he didn't mind it being on his sandwich. But grilling with it... well he never tried that before. So it was a first for him too.
