Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Well the weather is going to be miserable today.
I could only imagine what it would be like to be homeless.
Wait, I can't imagine that at all. It must be horrible to be homeless.
My non-furry brother, his name is Terry. A few years ago, he seen this homeless guy. He would see him every morning, when he would go to Tim Hortons for his morning coffee. He would then buy an extra cup of coffee and give it to the guy.
Then, after a bit, he also found out that the homeless guy was a smoker.
So Terry would buy the guy his morning coffee and a pack of cigarettes. Terry would also buy him a lighter for his cigarettes every so often.
One particular morning, he noticed that it was rather cold outside. So the next day, when he was dropping off the coffee and cigarettes, he gave the homeless guy a brand new winter jacket. He paid quite a bit for it too.
Later that day, it was warming up and Terry had to go somewhere down town. Likely to the bank or something. He noticed the new winter jacket, just lying on the side walk. He stopped and picked up the jacket and put it in his car.
The next day, he seen the homeless guy again and he was rather cold. He gave him the jacket again, the coffee and the cigarettes. Terry asked the homeless guy, why he found the jacket on the side walk.
Homeless guy said, it got warm out and I didn't need the jacket.
I guess since homeless guy didn't have a place to store his jacket, like a hanger in a closet, he just dropped the jacket.
Later the same day, Terry seen the jacket, on the sidewalk, in a different part of town. Terry drove past the jacket and shook his head. After that, he stopped buying homeless guy coffee and cigarettes.
Terry found out, a few weeks later, homeless guy moved to warmer climates, due the coffee, cigarettes and warm jacket no longer being provided.
Homeless guy wasn't such a fool after all.
