5/Apr/19 is there something that I can help you with

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

As I am looking outside, I can see that there is a wee bit of snow that is falling.  Not enough to say that it's snowing out, but enough to say, oh look, snow.

The Big Guy is really hoping that the temperature will go up and that it will rain instead.  Now, if the snow that's falling was rain, we would say it's "spitting" out.  Not sure what the term would be for when it's snow.

So last night, there was some stuff that was on TV and the Big Guy's episode of Star Trek Discovery wasn't "taped".  I guess the proper term would be "recorded".  But he can watch the episode using the On Demand feature he has with his cable company.

It was so windy the last few days.  They lost power in North Sydney.  But not where the Big Guy lives.  That made him pretty happy.  In the past, the power was always sure to go out, where I live.  But not lately.  The Big Guy was always thinking about getting a generator.  Now, with the power being so stable, he hasn't given it a lot of thought.

Because of the high winds, people that put their garbage out early, it's blowing all over the place.  The city folks are going to have a hard time finding all the garbage bags.

Talking of garbage, the Big Guy slept in this morning and almost missed the garbage truck.  After he got the garbage out, when he came in to make the coffee, the garbage truck was there.  Had he waited another 5 minutes to get the garbage out, he would have missed it this week.

We had some Jehovah Witnesses come to the door.  I didn't bark at them.  But they seen the size of me.  They really didn't want to come in the house.  Which is good.  I wanted them OUTSIDE.  Not inside.  It must be a hard job for them.  They sure do get a lot of exercise.  Walking everywhere.
