Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

It's my 3rd BIRTHDAY!  Horray.  Tonya says that I'm going to have a steak this weekend.  I can't wait!

When the Big Guy was younger, he used to go fishing a lot.  

When he lived in Dartmouth, the city would take the time to stock the lakes.  Then, it would seem that everyone would be out and they would be fishing.  Trying to get the fish that they put in the lake.

This is what the Big Guy brought home one day.

Since then, it would seem that the cities around here, stopped stocking the lakes with trout.  So now, if you want to go fishing, you need all sorts of licenses and stuff like that.

Something that used to keep kids busy, is gone.

The Big Guy can't remember the last time he went fishing.  No, wait, that would be a lie.  The last time he went fishing was with his friends, while he lived in Winnipeg.  They didn't catch anything that day.

But it wasn't the fact that he came home empty handed.  It was the fact that he just doesn't go fishing any longer.

It's not that he doesn't want to.  He just doesn't know where to go.  He knows that his brother-in-law used to go fishing in the water reservoir for the city.  But from everything that the Big Guy knows, your not supposed to do that.

Then, you go to the store to buy a trout and it's so expensive.

I guess fishing will be a thing of the past.
