12/Sep/18 look at my paws, I can cha cha

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

This morning, when the Big Guy got up, it was raining REALLY hard.  Now, not so much.  The rain will be coming in waves.  I guess something like the ocean waves.  Only the air has waves as well.  These would be called rain squalls.

This is the same thing that happens in the Winter when it snows.  We have snow squalls.  During those brief moments, you can hardly see across the street.  Then the snow stops for a bit, until the next wave happens.

I know this is going to put a pinch on my morning walk.  If we do go, it's going to be a short walk.

So last week, Tonya grazed the retaining wall with the car.  You should have seen how the Big Guy reacted.  He wasn't happy at all.  Tonya cried because he was so upset with her.  But he has tried to put something in place so that no one else hits the wall.

Now, he just needs a second pool noodle that matches the first one.

Moving forward, if you hit the pool noodle, you will know that you are WAY too close to the wall.

There is one part that has to be replaced on the car.

The Big Guy was able to take most of the scratches out of the door.  There is dent, but that's going to stay there.  He just doesn't have the equipment to fix that dent.  He will keep an eye out on that dent and make sure that it doesn't rust.  If it does, he will have to deal with that later on.  He is pretty sure that he was able to get to the area before anything like rust was able to set in.

But if you could have seen the original scratches.  They REALLY stood out against this black car.

Now, I know that the Big Guy's Mum would say, if you kiss the car, will it kiss you back?  With the Big Guy, if you were too ask him that, he would say, if you kiss his car, you will feel like the car just had sex with your mouth.

The Big Guy is friggin weird.
