10/Jul/18 it's really warm in the house

OK, so the Big Guy is going around the house without his shirt on.  Must be nice.  Then again, humans sweat all over the place.  Doggies, well we sweat though our tongue and our paws.

Oh, you didn't know that our paws sweat too?  Well they do.  If you don't believe it, look it up on Google.

This Thursday night, we are supposed to get a hurricane brush past Cape Breton.  They are forecasting for a LOT of rain.  Up to 30 mm of rain.  So just shy of 2 inches.  Now, for some people that isn't a lot of rain.  There is some boys that went playing in a cave in Thailand.  They got stuck once it rained really hard and the cave started to fill up.  Most of them have been rescued.  But there is still 5 left in the cave.  Now they have been getting a shit ton of rain over there.

Oh, in case you didn't know, a "shit ton" of rain means a lot more than just 30 mm of rain.

So yesterday I went to the Vet.  It was my annual "wellness" exam.  Of course I passed.  The vet said that I was gaining weight.  OK, so I put on a few pounds.  But now that I'm back from the "vacation" I will be going on walks again.

There was some stuff that got damaged while I was gone on "vacation".  Someone stole the two bear cubs that were sitting on the tree stump in the front yard.  They also broke the welcome bear.  They smashed two lawn chairs and then broke up the "pigs can fly" statues.  Tonya was not pleased with this at all.  The neighbor across the street was having a party at the time.  She said that some of the cars were damaged.  S U R E they were...  (The Big Guy and her haven't got along for well over 3 years now)  Now my non-furry uncle Terry was supposed to be watching the house at the time.  So he's pretty upset that this happened.  He said that he's going to find out who did this.  

The Big Guy is pretty confident that he's just going to throw out the stuff to the garbage and nothing will be done and nothing will be found out.  Even if they did find out who did it.  Their parents will do NOTHING to correct their lovely little children that vandalized his property.  It's just the way it is.

He says, this is what is wrong with North Sydney.  The people (vandals) have no accountability for their actions.  This is another reason he will not miss this place when he gets the opportunity to move away from here.

Well done North Sydney...  well done...
