So after years and years of dealing with these tree stumps that are in the front yard, the Big Guy has finally come up with a solution to his problem.
The problem was, when the trees were cut, they were not cut close enough to the ground. So when the Big Guy is mowing his lawn, more than once, the lawn mower would be stopped because it would hit the tree stump.
He tried a few things to encourage the stumps to rot faster. Like Epsom salts. He tried using his chain saw, but because of how low they are to the ground, he was cutting into the dirt. That only dulled the blade.
He had a size-able stump in the back yard. So one day, after doing his BBQ, he dumps the hot ashes on the tree stump. It doesn't catch fire, BUT it does smolder and burn the stump.
The Big Guy got a eureka moment. If he could contain the area where the charcoal would be, he could just burn the remainder of the stump.
So, he was at the Dollar Store and seen that they got a cute tin bucket. He is going to cut the bottom out of the bucket and then put that over the tree stump. This will contain where it burns. Then light the charcoal on fire. This will smolder, vice catching fire. Once the charcoal is burnt up, there should be no more stump.
Ta da...
Now, lets hope he doesn't set the house on fire.
