25/May/21 batteries not included

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I have to wonder about humans.

They are about to purchase some electronic device and they know it runs by batteries.

Then they are surprised when the batteries are not included.

Or the other one.

Some assembly required.

That can be an outrageous lie.  Some assembly required should occasionally read, LOTS of assembly required and you better be an engineer to be able to figure it out our easy to follow directions..

Some people thrive on the assembly bit.

They have an entire store devoted to assembly required.  It's call Ikea.

But they also have an ingenious device, called an Allen Key.  You get a free key with every purchase.

The Big Guy had a friend that really wasn't good at that sort of stuff.  So, he would get some beers and invite the Big Guy over to build his stuff he got from Ikea.

This used to piss off his wife as she thought she was pretty good at putting this stuff together.  But this guy was like, sorry honey, this is guy work, and wouldn't let her put it together.

BBQ's seem to have the most assembly required.  You better get your thinking cap on before you decide to put one of them together.
