7/Nov/20 we are going to talk about that camera flash

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I would have to wonder what a person from 100 years ago, nae, what a person from 50 years ago would think about cell phones.

For instance, the Big Guy walks around the house, early in the morning and finds me to take my picture.  That is unless he has taken my photo from the day before.

50 years ago, you wouldn't take that may pictures.

First off, you had to get a camera.

Then, you had to get film, which you would load into the camera.  Typically, there was a cartridge.  But you had to decide on 12, 24, or even outrageous, 36 pictures.

Then, you had to get flash bulbs.  These bulbs were one time use only.

You would take you pictures and then remove the cartridge.  50 years ago, they didn't have 1 hour photo.

You would take your cartridge and drop it off at the store.  A week later, you could come back and get your pictures.

50 years ago, they were starting to have color photos.  So, if we were to rewind the clock another 5 years.  Pictures were Black and White.

But when you would pay for your pictures, and you didn't even know if they "turned out" yet.  You could have crap pictures and you just paid for them.  There was no exchange cause you messed up taking the pictures.

You would get the pictures home and then, after a bit, you would "mount" them in a Photo Album.

People today, they wouldn't remember stuff like that.
