Did you know that they had SNOW in the highlands of Cape Breton? Yes, it happened yesterday.
You know what that means... snow for us that don't live in the Highlands of Cape Breton. Coming soon to a town near you... Winter.
The Big Guy will have to remove the lawn mower deck off his lawn tractor and install the snow blower attachment. Lord knows, he wouldn't want to have a walk behind snow blower any longer.
His ultimate dream though. Would be to have a heated driveway. Don't laugh, they do exist. Now, they aren't cheap either. But when it would snow, you flick this switch and the driveway heats up and melts the snow. It can melt 6 inches of snow, that would be 15 cm, in less than 3 hours.
For the people of Canada, it's Thanksgiving weekend.
Normally it would be Monday and they would have a big turkey dinner. Sometimes they have ham with it as well. Lots of veggies and then some deserts. Everyone tends to over eat and even I could have some of the veggies mixed in with my kibble.
Since the Big Guy is working on Monday, they are going to have their turkey dinner today.
Tomorrow, the Big Guy is hoping to make a turkey pie with the left overs.
Or, if there is enough turkey, perhaps a turkey soup.
But he also puts onions in it, so I don't get any. Yea, the dog. Gets nothing. Again.
Aurora is due to visit today. She is messy. I will be getting some of her stuff for sure.
