From what I have heard... I am the only dog that the Big Guy has allowed up on the furniture. His previous dogs, furniture was "no dog land".
He must be getting soft in his older years.
It's supposed to be warm this afternoon. I guess we will see just how warm it gets. I've got my pool, and there is the pergola and the Big Guy can drawn the shade part of it for me.
I heard that he has some yard work that is going to be done today. Not all of it by himself either. Tonya says that she will be getting Floyd to drop by and do some yard work. The Big Guy said that he isn't keen about letting him use all of his "stuff". There is a hedge trimmer and he's worried that he may cut the power cord by mistake. So I can see the Big Guy using that before Floyd gets here.
Tonya still needs some holes dug and the Big Guy said that there will be some bags of earth that needs to be leveled out. There is also the remnants of the tree stump that needs to be pounded into the earth. It is rotted quite a bit. So it needs to be torn up. The Big Guy says that Floyd can use a shovel and a spade to do that. He said that he can use his axe if he likes. But the hedge trimmer... not so much.
Oh, and then there is the lawn tractor... The Big Guy isn't so motivated to allow Floyd to use that either. He's got a push mower that he can use. But the Big Guy says that he will have most of the lawn mowed. It will be just the "nasty" trim work that will need to be completed. He hopes that Floyd will be wearing some jeans as the grass flies in the air when using the weed whacker.
The Big Guy was telling me that he's going to be moving to another account and that tomorrow is going to be his last day with this other accounts that he works on. He seems pretty excited about the internal move at work.
Tonya said that she is going to be sad that the Big Guy is moving. That she will not be able to sit beside him at work any longer. The Big Guy was hoping that the Boss at work will move Tonya too. They like sitting together. But work keeps them so busy, that they really can't talk to each other. But they also know, it's work first. Then they can talk to each other. There has been other people that said that they couldn't work with their spouse, let alone be in the same work place and then go home with them at the end of the day. But these two seem to be the exception.
