18/Jun/18 sunny days

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

So, I don't feel the cold like my humans do.  Yesterday, they both sat out on the sunny side of the house.  The Big Guy felt like it was +22.  Yet, had they decided to sit up on the deck, it was only +12.  So obviously they decided that sitting in the full sun was better.

Tonya did some yard work while the Big Guy was moving stuff and getting stuff for her.  After a bit, she told him to make some margaritas and go sit down.  So he was more than happy to do that.

It is supposed to rain today, which makes the Big Guy happy as it is free water for the grass.

The Big Guy remembers the 1st summer they had moved here.  He swears he was having to mow the lawn every 3 days.  They had a lot of thunder and lightening storms.  Nothing like that since that particular summer.

I've heard that a lot of doggies will suffer during an electrical storm.  Their fur will build up static electricity.  To counter that, rub your doggie with a dryer sheet.  Like "bounce".  This will dissipate any electrical charge on the doggie's fur.

The Big Guy has put some chicken out for their lunches today.  He still has to cook them.  I'm definitely not allowed to have chicken bones.  Those bones tend to go in the green bin.  Then the green bin gets emptied about once a month into a BIG truck.  I'm not sure where the chicken bones goes from there.  But there must be some pile of chicken bones out there somewhere.
