Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Soon enough, I will be back in the heat of the Summer sun.
It hasn't started to be Winter just yet.
That is another few weeks away.
Then the days will stay lighter, longer.
Although if you call the "day" as when the sun is on our side of the planet and "night" as when the sun is not shining on our side of the planet, then it will be the shortest day of the year.
But an actual day is still 23 hours and 56 minutes.
Then, we get a correction every 4 years and get an extra day on the calendar.
So far, the Big Guy has seen 15 of these years with the extra day thrown in.
I've seen one.
Not that it makes any difference.
Why didn't they throw in that extra day in the Summer?
They put the shortest month in the year in Winter.
But then again, if you lived in the Southern continents, that extra day would be in Summer.
Pretty deep thoughts for a dog, wouldn't you say?
I would just like it if I was given more treats and more human food.
Yea, that would be nice.
