13/Dec/22 making sure the computer works ok

 

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The weather people got the weather all wrong for today.

They were saying, it was supposed to snow, between 20 to 40 cm of snow.

Oh, it did snow.

But not 20 cm of snow.

At least not where I live.

There may be about 10 cm of snow.

As the Big Guy was looking at his phone, they are showing, the weather is turning to rain.

Now, knowing the Big Guy like I know the Big Guy, he is pretty pleased about the rain.

Around 7 this morning, we are supposed to get 15 mm of rain.

By 8, another 15 mm of rain.

By 9, the rain is supposed to "taper off".

That still puts an awful lot of rain on the ground.

The Big Guy likes to think, they dodged a bullet here.

The wind is still blowing quite hard.

He may go downstairs and shovel off the steps, so that the rain can do the rest.

Here I thought, we were going to wake up to a Winter Wonderland.

OK, Big Guy, you can stop smiling.  Don't tell me the rain does that to your face.
