Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Tomorrow, they are forecasting for 25 to 35 cm of snow.
The Big Guy isn't too happy about that.
But he pretty much knew, it could happen.
When they lived in Winnipeg, the storm of the century. They got 48 cm of snow. That would have been April of 1977. Then, they followed up with the flood of the century.
Fun times.
Back then, the Big Guy didn't have a snow blower.
That fall, he got his first snow blower.
But the snow in Winnipeg is different.
It isn't the wet and heavy snow that falls here.
There, it is light and powdery. It's easy to snow blow.
Here, it plugs up the snow blower if you go too fast.
In Winnipeg, if the city puts snow in your driveway, they also have a front end loader that removes the snow from your driveway and put's it in the front yard.
I don't think they have the budget to do that here.
But, soon enough, the Big Guy will be mowing the lawn and trimming the front hedges. Sitting outside in the warm sun.
