25/Mar/20 are we really supposed to stay inside

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

So there has been a question raised about where we can go.  The Province of Nova Scotia has called for a state of emergency.  No one really knows what that means.  You are allowed to go outside, but not exactly sure WHERE you can go.

The said that public parks are out.  So going to the Doggie Park, that is off limits now.

Going for a walk around the block, that would be OK.  Even encouraged.  But they are also saying, keep your distance.

When the Big Guy looks outside and sees teenagers out walking around, well, apparently, that is a no-no.  They are supposed to stay home.

It is all so confusing.

Now, staying home doesn't bother the Big Guy at all.  They have lots of stuff in the house.  They have LOTS of toilet paper.  Why there was such a run on toilet paper, no one really knows.  Same with bread.  But toilet paper and bread are back on the grocery shelves.

The Big Guy was telling me that the price of gas may go down again this week.  He heard as much as 10 to 15 cent a litre drop.  If that does happen, that will put the price of gas down to around $0.60 a litre.  The Big Guy was saying, he hasn't seen that price for gas since he lived in Winnipeg.  That would have been about 17 years ago!
