27/Feb/20 I got the Middle of Winter Blues

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I think I know why some people are "Winter People" and some are not.  The Winter people will get out side and will get their Vitamin D from the sun.  Then there is the non-winter people that hang out inside all the time.  They have to get their vitamin D from a pill.

The Big Guy feels that he would be more suited to live closer to the equator.  Then you would be out in the sun all the time.

So, do you know what's going to happen tonight?

If you guessed a snow storm, you would be right.

We're forecasted to get upwards of 20 cm of snow.

But it is also supposed to stop snowing around 3 or 4 in the morning.  This means that the Big Guy will be able to get out and snow blow before going to work.  There is also a wee bit of rain that is supposed to fall as well.  But not so much to make the snow into that wet and heavy slush.

Tonya has a cold.  She had to get some cough syrup.  She was at the pharmacy and they told her, she wasn't allowed to get this brand or that brand.  That she could only get one thing.  That is Buckley's Cough Syrup.  The ORIGINAL stuff.

The Big Guy has a daughter, her name is Melissa.  When the Big Guy got divorced from his second wife, he got some Buckley's for his girls.  Melissa used to complain that Buckley's BURNS.

The Big Guy used to tell her, that's what adult medicine tastes like.  Since your a big girl now, you have to start taking adult medicine when you get sick.

Soon after that, Tonya moved in and made sure that Melissa and Linda got proper teen age cough medicine.

But now, Tonya has to take the cough medicine that burns.

The Big Guy likes that stuff, so, he isn't all that sad.
