26/Feb/20 there is something good to eat in that BBQ

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

This is what you call, action shots.  The Big Guy didn't realize that he had held down the picture button on his cell phone.  So he took about 9 shots, one after the next.

Yes, he is such a photographer extraordinaire...

As you can see, it was rather nice out yesterday.  Nice enough for Tonya and the Big Guy to be sitting out and having a BBQ.  They were making a Burnt End Roast, which takes about 3 hours to cook.

Just like today, the Big Guy is planning to make, what he and his father named, Chinese Noodles.

Now, there really isn't that much that is Chinese about this casserole at all.  The fact that Oriental people seem to cook with Soy Sauce and not so much people from North America is where this dish got it's name.

So, back in the day, when the Big Guy would have been younger.  Likely in grade 7 or 8, the Big Guy's father always made sure that his boys could cook and bake stuff.  This would be no exception to the rule.

What ever pork left overs they would have, would go into the Chinese Noodles.  You chop up an onion, some celery, some peppers and cook them up with some pepper and garlic and any other spices you want.  Meanwhile, you got some elbow macaroni on the boil.  Once the veggies are cooked, you add the meat, the cooked noodles and add some soy sauce.

Voila!

Chinese noodles.

Oh and if you want to get really fancy...  add some liquid smoke.  Don't go overboard with the liquid smoke, or you will be eating this entire casserole by yourself.  Either that or feeding it to the sea gulls.

But talking of the Burnt End Roast.  I got to have some.  OH MY!  Was it ever good!  Yup, the Big Guy can really cook, that's for sure.
