Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
So... it's cold outside... yea, it gets like that in the Winter in Canada. Last night was -13 with a windchill of -28. For people living in the Prairies, that is almost a warm day. But for us in Cape Breton, not so much. If this happened in Vancouver or in Victoria, it would be really bad. They are most certainly not ready for it to be that cold.
Now, we are due to get some snow later on today. When it snows, the temperature tends to go up.
Funny story. Last night, when the Big Guy and Tonya were home, they were looking at the full moon. But they didn't stay outside too long to enjoy it. See above and the temperature outside.
Anyways, they were going to bed. Something caught the Big Guy's attention.
It was like the neighbor had a spot light on top of his garage. Now, that wouldn't be so unusual. But the light would have been at the other end of the garage and was only illuminating the top of the garage's roof.
Why would the neighbor do that?
The Big Guy was still trying to figure it out, when he bent down a bit to admire the full moon again.
He was looking at the neighbor's roof of the garage.
He finally put two and two together. It was the moon light, shining off the snow, which is now got a thick ice layer, which was reflecting moon light.
He shook his head and went and brushed his teeth before going to bed. Chuckling at his mistake.
