15/Feb/20 life is grand and I get to nap a lot

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Yesterday the Big Guy had noticed that the city's sidewalk snow blower seemed to be spending a lot of time on the area outside his house.  When he finally got up to have a look, they had widened up the snow banks that they had put on the street.

He did notice that the road surface did seem more narrow.  But that's due to the fact that the city isn't pushing back on the snow banks.

This morning, as the Big Guy is writing his daily email to his mum, he notices that there is the 1/2 ton truck with the road signs going by his house.  His curiosity got the better of him and he looked outside.  Yup, they are blocking off his street.

Then, a couple dump trucks show up.  They are parked on the street.

He is getting his coffee and a front end loader shows up.

Yup, they are removing the snow banks.

The Big Guy is wondering, are they doing this for the school so that the parents are able to park easier on the street...

Yesterday there was an oil delivery truck, he wanted to get by, but the parents had the road, essentially blocked off.

The delivery truck wasn't having any of that.  He laid on his air horn to get them moving.

Of course, that only made the Big Guy smile.
