Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

So, in the Summer time, they got what they call "Indian Summer".  This is a time in late August and most of September, where the day time temperatures are really nice.  The nights are cold, but don't let that fool you.

Right now, the nights are still very cold, but the day time temperatures are going above freezing and the snow and ice is melting.

During the next few days, the temperature is going to be above freezing.  But don't let that fool you.  It is still Winter.  We are expecting about 15 cm of snow on Thursday.

So there is a big kafuffle in Sports right now.  Namely hockey.  Now, when the Big Guy was a Little Guy, he used to follow hockey.  Back then, there was only 6 NHL teams.  It was easy to know all the players.

So there was a hockey game this past Saturday.  It was Carolina Hurricanes against the Toronto Maple Leafs.  So...  Toronto hasn't won enough hockey games to get to the Stanley Cup in a LONG time.  But the Hurricanes...  Their goalie got hurt during the 1st period and the second string goalie had to be put in nets.  He got hurt during the 2nd period.  They took the Zamboni driver and put him in nets.  Well if he didn't win the game for Carolina.

This looks REALLY bad for Toronto Maple Leafs.  Here you got professional NHL players, getting paid MILLIONS of dollars a year, and this relatively, Mister Nobody, gets put in nets and you STILL can't win.  There is a lot of upset NHL fans.
