21/Feb/20 it is likely the coldest day of the year for us

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

OK, so for Cape Breton, getting temps below -10 is unusual.  Bit right now, it's -19 with a wind chill of -26 C.  That's like -15 F for people on the other scale.

BUT...  this will likely be our coldest day of the year.  Everything else from here, will be warmer temperatures.

Just like in about 6 months from now, in August, it tends to be the hottest days of Summer.

It is very hard to believe, when you got temperatures like this, that people are concerned with Global Warming.

So, the Big Guy had this idea.  Since we got a metal roof, the snow and ice melts off the roof.  Now, during more temperate days, there will be frost that accumulates on the roof.  The sun comes up and it melts the frost.

The melted water runs off the roof and on to the ground.  This freezes and creates a bit of an annoying layer of ice that Tonya and the Big Guy have to deal with, when going to their car.

So, the Big Guy went and bought some cat litter.  GREAT IDEA!  That is unless you buy the WRONG cat litter.  He was expecting to get something that looks like gravel.  This resembled like a very fine sand.  Very powdery.  It blew around everywhere.

DUMB idea.

Oh, at least Tonya had a good idea.  She got the Big Guy to make me some new dog biscuit/treats.  But he also go out the pizza slicer, vice the cookie cutter dog biscuit thing.  So now, I got a jar FULL of small biscuits.

Well, it could be worst.  I could have none.
