15/Jul/19 are you looking at me

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

My non-furry brother, Marc, well he is in Egypt right now.  He is going to be there for a bit.  It's part of his job to go away and keep the peace in places that peace is hanging on by a thread.  I wonder if he has any doggies to pat while he is there.

When the Big Guy was in Golan Heights, there was a dog that was the camp mascot.  They gave the dog a rank of Sergeant.  This allowed him to go into any of the drinking places that was in camp.

I was checking the weather and there is thunderstorms forecasted for today.  So I expect that there will be a few snaps of thunder.  This should keep the people happy.

The Big Guy was telling me that he has never seen as much thunder and lightening, than the 1st year they had moved to North Sydney.  That would have been the Summer of 2007.  He said that it thundered and lightening and rained so much, he was mowing the lawn, about every three days.

So far, the most he has had to mow the lawn is about once a week.  Although he has more clean up to do on the side of the driveway.  Not that it should take a lot to get done.  But there is only a little bit of hedge that is left.

The Big Guy was looking at 3 trees that is on his property.  One in the back yard.  He says, he should have dealt with that when he moved here.  Now it's way too big to deal with on his own.  Then there is the two trees in his front yard.  They are actually a combination of several trees that have grown together.  In the Winter, they drop dead branches into the yard.  Yea...  not something that you want to do to the Big Guy's snow blower.  But that is a project for another day.
