Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Last night, the Big Guy and Tonya had left overs.
Yes, those ribs.
Although there was no bones.
The Big Guy took the time to take the meat off the bones.
I didn't get to have any of the bones.
But then again, neither did any of the critters that comes around looking for their left overs.
This time, the stuff that they normally put in their compost area, went into the green bin.
The compost area, it's where there used to be a very large tree stump.
Honestly, a few bags of earth from Canadian Tire, and it would be all filled in.
They are fixing up the house across the street from where we live.
It was sold about 14 years ago and no one has lived in it.
It's been slowly going into disrepair.
It is nice to see that someone is fixing it up.
I've found, when a house sits empty for a few years.
Somehow or other, it catches fire.
Then the City will come around the bulldoze it to the ground and clean up what is left of the house.
This means, there is more than a few empty lots around where I live.
Well, not around where I live, more like, around other parts of town.
Hopefully, some day, someone will purchase the empty lot and start building a new home.
But then, these new homes are so expensive now.
Just a vicious circle.
Oh, and what are they having for supper today?
Boiled ham.
Just great...
Something else I can't have.
They best put some mashed potatoes out for me. With veggies. And 3 extra treats.
Your blast from the past
