1/Oct/22 Hurricanes are a pain

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

As much as we had to endure Hurricane Fiona.

Our friends in Florida are going through so much worst.

Hurricane Ian was about twice the storm that we had to endure.

They are not going to have power for a long time.

Although they were stringing up a new set of power lines yesterday.

I am hoping that these new lines will make for a lot more stable power supply for our area.

People were saying, once these linesmen are done in this area, they are off to Newfoundland to help restore power there.

In other news, people from NASA slammed a spaceship into an asteroid.

They wanted to see, if they did this, could they move the asteroid into a new position.

This would be incase an asteroid was on a collision course with Earth, could they, move it.  Even just a little bit.

Moving it a little bit while it's far away, would mean that it would miss us.

Of course, we don't want a repeat of what the dinosaurs went through.

If we think that loosing power would be a drag.

On happier news.

The power went out and the Big Guy and Tonya went to A&W.  They brought lunch home for themselves and for Mylynne, Colby, Aurora and little Floyd.  They also brought stuff for Floyd, but he didn't drop by.

They found that A&W is meant to be eaten while it's fresh.  When it gets cold, the fries are not as good.

Guess who got to have a lot of fries yesterday.

Yea, that would be me.

Your blast from the past
