Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
For some reason, the people of Cape Breton, associate Halloween with Fireworks.
I guess they are trying to make a new firework that doesn't have a BANG when it goes off.
Knowing humans, I can't see that being a big seller.
Tonight, I'm going to be hanging out with the Big Guy on the couch.
I am sure he is going to protect me.
My Memere is back in Moncton.
She came for a quick visit.
She has the poppy campaign that she works for the Legion.
She will go sit in the Liquor Store and say hello to people as they are buying a poppy for their jacket or hat.
After Remembrance Day, then people will slowly start decorating their houses for Christmas.
The Big Guy told me, when he lived in Winnipeg, it was against the rules to light up your Christmas decorations before they had their Christmas parade.
The Big Guy thought this was a dumb assed rule and didn't follow it.
He would put his decorations up about the last week of November and then turn them on.
His next door neighbor would remind him about the rule.
His Christmas lights stayed on.
The Big Guy thought this was a bullshit rule.
No one stopped him.
No other neighbors told him anything about having his lights turned on early.
Your blast from the past.
