Good morning world.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Tonya goes into these draws to win stuff from this lady that lives down the street from us. She is raising money for this child.
Her latest win is this huge "statue" thingy for Halloween. She has also put in to win this skeleton that is in a rocking chair. Again, it's for Halloween.
Tonya would have the house decorated a lot more, but it takes a lot to put the stuff out. Then, during October, we do seem to get a lot of wind storms. It's havoc on the outside decorations.
Tonya even wants the car decorated. Which is always fun, as people have often said that the car looks like a hearse to start with.
The Big Guy has been getting up way early lately. He tries to put me outside to do my "business", but I rather enjoy being outside this time of day. There is hardly any breeze. There is very little noise. You can hear the dew falling off the metal roof. It's just so tranquil.
That is till later in the day and people start driving around with their loud cars.
The Big Guy is looking forward to the day when it's mostly electric cars. People with gas powered cars... will they be looked down upon with disdain as they are polluting the air? There is a lot of gas powered cars that are relatively quiet. Some, they have what the Big Guy calls Fart Can mufflers. He especially dislikes those cars.
Big trucks, they are diesel powered. Now, the Big Guy has been watching YouTube videos and it would seem that at some time, there will be battery powered big trucks.
Also, it would seem, we are on the verge of self driving vehicles. When that happens, will you really need to own your own car? You would just call up a service and the car would appear at your front door, ready to take you where ever. For the amount of driving that the Big Guy does, he wonders if it would be cheaper when that happens. Own your car, or rent one, like a taxi service. I guess that will be a problem for the future.
