Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Although you can't see it in this picture, I am snoring, quite loudly, in that picture above. It was everything that I could to to stay awake, while the Big Guy and Tonya were at work.
Yesterday, the Big Guy was going thru his entire contact list and sending out this picture.
Even though he is no longer in the Armed Forces, he still cares about all his former extended family.
If you have a friend that is in the military, I'm sure they would appreciate receiving this. So feel free to copy and paste and sent it along to them. I'm sure they will be pleased to hear from you.
The Big Guy slept in a wee bit today. Although he woke up at 5:00, he didn't get out of bed till 5:30. But when he got up, he could see that sun rise was on the horizon. Of course the sun isn't above the horizon just yet, but it is rising none the less. It will continue to rise earlier and earlier, until June 21st. That will be the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Then, the days will get progressively shorter, until we have the longest night of the year, which would be December 21st.
The Big Guy made a beef pie yesterday. He thinks he baked it too long and the gravy dried out. So he is going to be making some new gravy, and will be cutting up the pie and putting it into portioned containers, then adding the new gravy on top of the portion.
I also heard Tonya and the Big Guy saying that I will be taken to the 4 paw day spa today for a bath.
Hmmm... not always something that I look forward to. But I better get used to it, as it's going to happen.
