7/Oct/18 I'm not too big for this chair

Good morning Cape Breton.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.

The Big Guy come around the corner and seen that I was all curled up into a ball.

Normally when you see your dog like this, they are cold and are trying to conserve heat.

Not me, I'm just trying to get comfortable in the chair.  It's nice and cozy.

So the Big Guy is cooking the turkey for Thanksgiving right now.  After it gets the chance to cool, he will take the meat off the bones and will make a gravy from the bones.

He has some celery, carrots and onions at the bottom of the roasting pan.  That really adds some taste to his gravy.  He makes sure to strain off the veggies before he makes the gravy.

Tonya was talking about decorating for Halloween today.  The Big Guy thinks it's a little early and would prefer to wait till next weekend.  But perhaps the blow ups would be fine for today.  We will have to wait and see what the weather is like.

The leaves on most of the trees haven't turned color just yet.  Not sure what they are waiting for.  It's already the end of the first week of October.  They can turn color any day now.  Mother Nature must not have received the memo.

The Big Guy has got a job today.  That's to clean up the branches from the tree that he was pruning.  He didn't want to do that yesterday as he wanted to be able to go to Leo and Bonnie's house without his knee being so sore.  He has to watch out for how much stuff he will do, otherwise his knee really hurts him.  He told me that he should be having his knee replaced, but that's he is too heavy to get that done.  But at some point, will medical science progress to the point where they can "re-program" his body to fix his knee?  He would be pretty happy with that.
