Good morning Cape Breton.
Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home.
Yesterday the Big Guy and Tonya went for a drive around The Cabot Trail. Yes, they finally went.
The Big Guy had never done The Cabot Trail in the fall to see all the colors that could be seen. Now, Tonya did have her cell phone with her, but I think she only took one picture.
The Big Guy said that he will take his Dash Cam inside and he will make a small movie with all the fall colors.
They were saying that they seen about every type of weather. There was sun shine. There was rain. There was fog. There was snow. There was hail. There was a lot of wind.
Their car is really dirty too. There was quite a bit of construction going on. Even on a Sunday too. For the most part, they were able to roll up on the construction and they were given the "slow" sign. Except for one area.
Normally there is a toll ferry to get you across one area. But they didn't have to pay this time. They were waiting and waiting. They think it was because there was a fuel truck that got to go by itself and everyone else had to wait. Either way, they were pleasantly surprised that they didn't have to pay.
They got home and took me for a walk. I was "bad" at the beginning of the walk and jumped and jumped. That was until the Big Guy grabbed me by the ear. That got my attention and I was a lot better during the walk after that.
Something that we didn't see, was a lot of Halloween decorations. Then again, if you would have seen the wind. I think you would understand too.
