5/Apr/23 sitting out

Good morning world.

Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Some parts of Quebec got freezing rain yesterday.

Tomorrow, that same storm is going to visit parts of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

For once, it seems that the storm is going to stay on the mainland and not visit Cape Breton.

Some times, the freezing rain, just looks pretty.

Other times, not so much.

Last year, during Hurricane Fiona, the Big Guy was POSITIVE that his next door neighbor's tree was going to be blown down.

It was one of the few trees that survived.

But the Big Guy noticed, about a month ago, the tree was taken down.

Which is good, as it was pretty much dead.

When we were sitting out yesterday, we were in the shade of this tree that is on the side of the driveway.

There was branches that would hang down.

But they were not touching the Big Guy's car.

The neighbor though, they would turn into the Big Guy's driveway, before backing into their driveway.

The branches would touch their truck.

This didn't bother the Big Guy at all.

I've been going for a lot of walks.

Although the other day, I went twice.  Yesterday, only the once.  Damn.
