Maximus Handsomius here from my forever home, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
So far, the temperature hasn't fallen below zero this week.
The snow is quickly melting.
Yet last Friday, they had a big snow event.
They didn't sort of cancel garbage day, but no one really put out their garbage.
This week, there is going to be a lot more garbage put to the curb.
Of course the Big Guy hopes they take it all away.
Guess he will find out for sure, tomorrow.
The Plumber is due to show up, one more time.
This time to replace the leaking line that goes to the outside tap.
But once that is replaced, they will have water going to the outside of the house.
The Big Guy will be able to wash his car.
He will be able to power wash the deck.
They will be able to use that tap to fill up my kiddie pool they put on the deck.
The Big Guy may even power wash some of the flaking paint off the house.
Not sure how he would white wash the cedar shakes that is in place.
They are going to put siding on the house some day.
But at least if the house's flaking paint was removed, it would look a lot better than what it does now.
Once the siding is on the house, they will never have to worry about painting the house again.
But they still have the chimney.
Unless they put siding around that.
